FBI Director Kash Patel Reports Stopping 715 Terror Plots in Last Year
FBI Director Kash Patel recently disclosed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation successfully prevented 715 terrorist attacks on United States soil during the past year. He shared this previously unrevealed figure in an exclusive interview with Epoch Times senior editor Jan Jekielek, set to air on August 8th.
Patel emphasized that these thwarted plots were linked to ISIS and other terrorist-affiliated groups, targeting a range of locations including places of worship, schools, and commercial establishments. Notably, in December alone, the FBI disrupted four separate planned attacks within a 30-day span.
The Director highlighted the severity of the intended attacks, stating that the perpetrators sought to disrupt American holidays and cause mass casualties, potentially killing dozens or even hundreds of people. “Before these individuals could execute their plans, we intervened and stopped all of them,” Patel confirmed.
These revelations underscore the ongoing efforts of the FBI to combat terrorism and protect public safety across the nation through proactive intelligence and swift action.
