FBI Director Kash Patel Reports 715 Terror Plots Prevented in 2025
In 2025, the FBI successfully thwarted 715 planned terror attacks across the United States, according to Director Kash Patel. This significant figure, previously unrevealed, was disclosed during an exclusive interview with The Epoch Times.
Patel highlighted that in December alone, the FBI intervened to halt four separate attacks within a single month. These planned assaults targeted a variety of vulnerable locations including places of worship, educational institutions, and local businesses.
The FBI’s efforts are part of ongoing counterterrorism measures addressing threats originating from ISIS and other terrorist-affiliated groups. Director Patel emphasized the gravity of these prevented attacks, noting that the suspects intended to disrupt American holidays and cause mass casualties, potentially killing dozens or even hundreds of people.
"Before these individuals, who wanted to disrupt America’s holidays last year—literally—and kill dozens, if not hundreds, of people, and cause a mass casualty event, we went in and took them all down," Patel stated.
The agency's proactive disruptions underscore the critical role of intelligence and law enforcement coordination in safeguarding public safety from evolving domestic and international terror threats.
