Bill Maher Criticizes Democratic Socialists' Plans to Restructure U.S. Government

Political commentator Bill Maher recently expressed strong criticism towards the Democratic Socialists of America's (DSA) platform, which he claims includes radical proposals to dismantle key aspects of the U.S. government.

Maher highlighted that the DSA seeks to eliminate the current form of government, including abolishing the Senate, and plans to replace the President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary that would be appointed by and subordinate to Congress.

He questioned the sanity of such proposals, rhetorically asking, "Who could be this nuts?" and then blaming those he described as "morons who are still wearing COVID masks."

This commentary was shared publicly on the social media platform X by user Benny Johnson, who quoted Maher's remarks and included a clip illustrating these points.
